Modern techniques give a natural, permanent beard, define the facial features and improve your appearance.

Beard Transplant Techniques

The most common and safe methods are FUE, DHI and Sapphire:

  • FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction): follicles taken one by one from the donor area are implanted in the beard area. No stitches are needed and recovery is quick.
  • DHI (Direct Hair Implantation): follicles are implanted directly into the beard area with special pens, increasing density and a natural look.
  • Sapphire method: similar to FUE, but channels opened with sapphire tips allow follicles to be placed at a more precise angle, creating a natural beard line.

Benefits of a Beard Transplant

A beard transplant gives a natural, permanent beard. Facial features become more defined, appearance improves and self-confidence grows. Transplanted follicles are long-lasting and blend with the natural beard texture.

The Procedure and Comfort

The transplant is performed under local anaesthesia, so no pain is felt. FUE, DHI and Sapphire methods leave no stitches or large scars and recovery is quick. The procedure takes 3 to 6 hours depending on the number of grafts.

How Many Sessions Are Needed?

A beard transplant is usually completed in a single session; an additional session can be planned to increase density if needed. The transplanted follicles start to grow naturally and a full beard is achieved within 6 to 12 months.

Who Is It Suitable For?

It suits men with a sparse beard or beardless areas on the face. It is not performed with active skin infection or serious health problems, so a prior assessment is important.
